It's almost time for the Chamberlain bite to get rolling. With verty warm temps in the forecast and the powerhouses moving water it will be open before you know it. Currently there is fishable water from Fort Thompson down to Crow Creek. Which means you must launch up at the dam. It usually takes a week or two for the water to open up in town. Now is the time to book your spring fishing adventure on Lake Francis Case! If you go out on your own over the next few weeks its hard to be a jig and minnow this time of year and the soft boyount plastics will really excell in the cold water if you can find some shallow fish. Start off looking in the channel as many of these walleye will still be hanging deep until the water warms up a bit more and then use your side scan to find shallow (Less than 10') fish. If you find them shallow you will catch alot of walleye!. Stay tuned for updated reports as we hope to get you on the river this week.
